The raids that open on December 9, 2026, and the ones on Blizzard's roadmap. Their bosses and loot are added here as soon as each raid opens.

Opening December 9, 2026

WoW Forever launches on November 4 without raids. About five weeks later, three raids of three sizes open together, so a group of friends doesn't need 40 players to raid. Their bosses and loot aren't known yet: each raid's loot, with your upgrades marked, and a guide to its bosses follow once it opens.

Barrow Deeps

10 playersNew in WoW Forever

A raid that didn’t exist in Classic, and the smallest of the first three.

Opens December 9, 2026. Bosses, loot and a guide are added when it does.

Hyjal Summit

20 playersNew in WoW Forever

In The Burning Crusade, Hyjal Summit was a Caverns of Time raid. Blizzard hasn’t detailed WoW Forever’s version yet.

Opens December 9, 2026. Bosses, loot and a guide are added when it does.

Onyxia's Lair

40 playersClassic raid

The Classic raid against the black dragon Onyxia, at 40 players.

Opens December 9, 2026. Bosses, loot and a guide are added when it does.

Onyxia's Lair's loot in Classic

A first idea of what it drops. WoW Forever changed many Classic items, so its loot may differ; this list is replaced with Forever's when the raid opens.

Later on the roadmap

Spring 2027Two new raids, for 10 and 20 players
Summer 2027A revamped iconic raid and a new raid

Blizzard hasn't named these raids yet. Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, Zul'Gurub, Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj, Temple of Ahn'Qiraj and Naxxramas aren’t on WoW Forever’s roadmap; the “revamped iconic raid” may be one of them. Each raid gets its page here once it's announced. The dates are in our raid release dates and roadmap guide.
